This is the first year I put Morgan in swim lessons. Dustin's aunt teaches swim lessons at her home in Queen Creek. She lives just two blocks from Dustin's parent's, so we drop Ethan off to play with Grandma and Grandpa while we go to swim lessons. She just finished her first two week session and LOVED it. I wish I could say that she loved every bit of it, but unfortunately I can't. The first class she did really well with following directions. At the end they did ring-around-the-rosy and she wasn't a little startled when her face ended up in the water, but she didn't cry. I thought "awesome, she's not going to cry at all." Little did I know that the second class they were going to put her face in the water more and after the first time she decided she just wanted to sit on the steps. Dustin's cousin helps with the lessons also, so she was able to pry Morgan from the step. She didn't cry too much, so I thought the third lesson would be fine. Well, lets just say she started screaming from the get go and kept getting out of the pool. But the last half of the class she didn't cry at all. She still was hesitant to go with Traci, but she was happy to sit on Jaci's lap. Lets just say that her 3 lessons this week, she never cried once. She even started putting her head in the water on her own. It's very cute to see her take a deep breath before her head goes under.

Swimming to the edge of the pool like a pro. I missed the picture of her actually swimming by herself because it takes so long for my little point-and-shoot to reset itself. Bummer!
After swim lessons we head back to Grandma and Grandpa's for lunch and, of course, a popsicle.
Before and after her lessons she tells me over and over again, "eyes water snack snack." Which translated means, "I put my eyes in the water to get fruit snacks."
Next week we aren't able to go to lessons, so hopefully taking a week off she doesn't forget how much she just loves it. We'll just have to get to the pool as much as possible this week. Plus, she needs to show Daddy her new moves.

She is so cute in her little swimming suite. Way to Go Morgan!!! :o)
p.s. Craig Campbell only has 1 big song on the radio, "Family Man". In a few weeks there will be another one about Fishing. I still think that makes him a star though, because getting 1 song on is hard enough.

How much does Dustin's aunt charge for swim lessons, by the way? I want to put Lexie in one or two so she can get better at swimming and Brays in one or two so he's used to the water.
