Our little man turned 2 last month and what better way to celebrate than a party. He loves hot dogs, so Dustin suggested doing a hot dog bar. Ethan and Morgan are not really ones to branch out in their food choices, so all the different toppings were more for the adult party goers.
Ethan was having a difficult time opening his gifts and was getting very frustrated that he couldn't open them fast enough, so thankfully he has a very nice big sister to help him open his presents. And a couple of the presents Morgan ended up opening by herself because Ethan just wanted to play with his new cars.
See what I mean? He is playing with his cars because he was tired of trying to open up the present.
My wonderful friend and cousin, Camille, helped me make this cake for Ethan. Actually, I made the cake and the icing, and she did all the decorating while I chatted with her. Thank you so much Camille!!
Ethan tried blowing out the candles, but just didn't have the lung strength. Morgan came to his rescue again.
He was so excited about his cars as you can tell. In this picture, the three cars lined up on his right are his new cars, and the other cars to his left are his old ones. He didn't want them to start mingling just yet. But now they are all the best of friends.
Here he is showing off his new shirt, backpack (couldn't get him to turn around to actually show it off), and three of his new cars. All of his gifts besides two had to do with "Cars", his all most favorite movie. Is this little man spoiled? Oh yes, but look at how cute he is? It's hard not to spoil him.
