Easter

This was Morgan's first real Easter. Dustin's family did Easter baskets growing up, so we decided we would do one for Morgan. I wasn't able to grab the camera in time to take any good pictures, but here she is dumping out her basket, grass and all. Her Uncle Kevin already told us how mean we were for not getting her any candy. We just figured she would get enough later that evening, so she got fruit snacks and graham cracker fish, which she loves.

Does that floor pad look familiar? She was really good, and colored through most of the first session of General Conference.

We headed to Grandma and Grandpa Willis' for lunch where she had her very first ice cream cone. She wasn't sure about it at first, so it was pretty melted by the time she started eating it. Thank goodness for the "bib".

Since this was her very first hunt, I thought for sure she would pick up one egg and she would be done. But she did really well. She did open the first egg, but once she saw more she put the egg in her basket and started going crazy.

She ended up with 10 eggs which isn't bad when you're the youngest of 10 cousins.

Easter Sunday was also Grandpa Willis' birthday. Morgan kept wanting to pick up the candles, so we told her to fold her arms while singing "Happy Birthday".

As you can see she was still folding her arms after Grandpa and all the kids blew out the candles. She doesn't even fold her arms all the way through prayers and those are usually shorter. Silly girl! As you can see, Grandpa never unfolded his arms either.

Morgan had such a good time and ate lots and lots of sweets! I hope everyone else had just as an enjoyable Easter.
